Packaging brief template: brand to print

A thin brief means the wrong carton style and a wasted press pass. This template lists required fields. Grapxo generates vector surfaces from a structured brief.

Why a template

Buying, design, and the printer need one shared language. The checklist locks product type, size, language, and delivery format.

Required fields

Product type, carton or label, dimensions, language, brand voice, legal/content notes, channel, printer notes, and file expectations. Barcodes only if you provide them.

Often skipped

Bleed/safe, window/insert, bilingual copy, closure type. Guessing millimetres is risky; update the dieline when the tooling is final.

Frequently asked questions

Will Grapxo design without a brief?

No. The engine only runs from a structured brief.

What if I lack exact sizes?

Give at least rough dimensions and product type. Do not invent millimetres; attach a supplier drawing when you can.

One brief for label and box?

Same brand voice, separate panel lists. Use two briefs if needed.
