Grapxo vs Canva: what changes for packaging?
Canva is strong for quick visuals and social templates. Packaging needs dieline, cut, and vector surfaces. Grapxo is not an image generator.

Putting a dieline into Canva
If you already have a dieline from your printer or a template, a common routine is to place it in Canva and design on top of it: set the Canva page to the dieline’s size in millimetres, place the dieline file on it, lock it so it cannot be moved by accident, extend backgrounds and images past the cut line to cover the bleed, and take the dieline out of the artwork before export, because the cut line is a reference for the die and is not printed. This is general practice, not a Grapxo feature, and it depends on your Canva plan and on the file you import.
Where that routine breaks
It tends to break in three places. The dieline usually arrives as a locked picture or guide, not as separate cut and crease layers your printer can switch on and off. A scale error is easy to miss on screen, so compare the size in millimetres with your printer’s drawing. And a PDF/X-4 with a CMYK output profile is something to confirm with your printer, because not every design tool writes one. Grapxo draws the dieline and the artwork together in one file set, with the layers kept separate.
