A sleeve is a thin brand band and slide experience; an outer carton protects, owns the shelf face, and holds inserts. Grapxo builds both as vector dielines—it is not an image generator.
Two layers of language
Sleeve = slide and silhouette. Outer box = shipping/gift protection, legal copy, booklet/insert. Separate them in the brief.
When sleeve alone
Lower damage risk, strong bottle silhouette, cost pressure. Risk: scuffs in shipping and on shelf. Duty-free and ecommerce often want an outer carton.
When outer box or a set
Gifting, shipping, dense legal copy, or sample inserts. Sleeve + carton means two dielines, one brand system.
